About the role
This role is responsible for the initial reject analysis of products at Final Test, providing support on engineering evaluations.
What you'll do
- Perform basic failure analysis on Final Test rejects including X-ray, SAT, External/Internal Visual Inspection, Decapsulation, and Cratering Test.
- Identify basic failure mechanisms seen during inspection.
- Document findings and write technical reports.
- Create and maintain an excel database for manufacturing flow and machine/equipment numbers.
- Calculate RBFA ppm metrics and generate reports.
- Update system transactions for suspected maverick lots.
What you'll need
- At least 3 years of college education or technology background.
- At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor assembly or final test operations.
- Strong knowledge in internal and external visual/mechanical criteria.
- Ability to perform x-ray inspection, chemical de-processing, and internal visual inspection.
- Knowledge of computer systems.
