About the role
This role involves supporting all aspects of the quality management system, including manufacturing quality and supplier quality, for the Mohawk Valley Fab.
What you'll do
- Interface with customers' quality engineers on complaints and returns.
- Lead problem solving with cross-functional teams to determine root cause and corrective actions.
- Support Manufacturing Quality business processes for the IATF16949 certified Marcy site, including change management, non-conformance management, and corrective actions.
- Evaluate supplier PCNs and issue vendor corrective action SCARS supporting the Supplier and Incoming Quality business process.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Knowledge of quality systems, semiconductor materials, and semiconductor wafer fabrication.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with IATF 16949, AS9100, or ISO9001.
- Basic understanding of quality core tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC).
- Experience designing and/or executing incoming quality control business utilizing camLine (SQM, SPACE, CDM) and SAP S4 HANA (quality management & enterprise warehouse management).
- Experience utilizing engineering databases and SQL to develop and deploy PowerBI reports.
- Working knowledge of the VDA 4992 barcode specification.
- Experience deploying python and/or streamlit reporting applications.
