What you'll do
- Work with New Product Development teams to ensure engineering drawing requirements are communicated to suppliers.
- Participate with New Product Introduction teams to ensure suppliers are involved in specification review for design for manufacturability.
- Continuously involve in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base providing competitive advantage.
- Perform supplier technical audit process and evaluate supplier performance and capability, driving continuous improvement.
- Perform quality problem resolutions and incident management, driving root cause and correction action.
- Evaluate technical requirements of new and existing products and recommend materials to Design Engineering for savings, lead time reductions, and risk mitigation.
What you'll need
