About the role
This role is responsible for manufacturing point of use purifiers within the Advanced Purity Solutions Division in San Luis Obispo, CA. Work involves building subassemblies to engineering specifications, testing finished products, and conducting quality visual inspections on 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
What you'll do
- Build products to released drawings and process record instructions, verifying assemblies visually against established specifications. - Test purifiers by performing leak checks in accordance with SEMI S2 specifications. - Execute finishing operations including etching, bead blasting, cleaning, and product labeling. - Package finished products per packaging specifications and complete production paperwork, including production orders and POU logs. - Use hand tools to complete assemblies while maintaining 6S standards and cleanroom safety protocols. - Prioritize daily assembly work to maintain on-time shipment schedules under supervisor direction.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or equivalent. - 1-2 years of mechanical assembly or relevant experience. - Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment. - Ability to navigate operating systems to locate BOMs, drawings, and work instructions, along with basic data entry skills. - Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs daily, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods. - Flexibility to work overtime and weekends to support production needs on 3rd shift.
