About the role
This role leads the planning, coordination, and execution of semiconductor capital equipment installations from project initiation through production turnover. It oversees project schedules, monitors execution, manages risks, and drives issue resolution across Equipment installation, Facilities projects, OEMs, contractors, EHS, and multiple internal stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple semiconductor capital equipment installation projects simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using established project management tools.
- Hold Equipment Engineering leadership, Installation Engineers, OEM suppliers, contractors, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing, and supporting organizations accountable for agreed-upon commitments and execution timelines.
- Lead weekly installation coordination meetings and project execution reviews.
- Identify technical, logistical, schedule, and resource risks early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary communication link between Equipment Engineering leadership and project stakeholders.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of nine (9) years of experience managing capital equipment installations, engineering projects, manufacturing operations, industrial construction, or semiconductor capital projects.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience coordinating OEM suppliers, contractors, engineering organizations, and manufacturing operations.
- Experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules.
- Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and facility utility systems.
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
- Training in project scheduling methodologies or earned value management.
- Semiconductor manufacturing or advanced manufacturing experience.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or similar project scheduling software.
