About the role
This role involves supporting equipment installations, factory layout design, and capacity expansion planning across Wolfspeed's manufacturing sites.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute equipment installations from need identification through production release.
- Develop the overall project plan, including schedule, milestones, tasks, and factory layout design.
- Communicate regularly with management and functional groups regarding project progress and needs.
- Lead or participate in projects related to workforce utilization, work center layout, and material flows.
- Support 24/7 manufacturing and participate in production planning.
What you'll need
- BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years prior work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong project management skills.
- Overall knowledge of industrial engineering to support capacity planning, resource utilization, and lean manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, CAD, SQL, Access, JMP, and/or VBA.
Nice to have
- MS degree applicable to the Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering field.
- 5+ years’ experience managing projects over $5 million.
- 5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience in Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering field.
- Project Management certification(s).
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet).
