About the role

This role leads high-impact programs supporting military and aerospace customers, ensuring seamless execution across scope, schedule, and cost. It integrates customer needs across engineering and operations for Teradyne’s Defense & Aerospace Division.

What you'll do

  • Lead planning, execution, and closure of complex Defense & Aerospace programs.
  • Collaborate with Sales on proposal development and program capture strategies.
  • Conduct detailed contract reviews to assess scope, risk, and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), identifying critical paths and mitigating risks.
  • Build strong cross-functional alignment across global teams to ensure cohesive, timely execution.
  • Monitor program performance using industry-standard tools; initiate corrective actions.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive engineering and program/project management experience, ideally in Aerospace & Defense or high-tech.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-disciplinary programs with full cost/schedule/performance accountability.
  • Proficiency with program management tools, risk reviews, and integrated scheduling (e.g., MS Project).
  • Understanding of handling and securing ITAR and CUI information.

Nice to have

  • PMP or equivalent certification.
  • Technical expertise in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and defense electronics.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, PLM systems, and ERP platforms.
