About the role
This role supports ATE final test operations and leads day-to-day operations for automated IC testing and tape & reel production lines.
What you'll do
- Set up and run production machinery for ATE test handler loading.
- Load device trays/tubes into automated test handlers and monitor machine throughput.
- Perform basic contactor cleaning and clear mechanical jams.
- Inspect die surfaces, bond wires, and package leads under optical microscopes.
- Record pass/fail yields, scrap counts, and test execution data in MES/ERP tracking software.
- Flag low-yield lots to quality and product engineers.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0–2 years in automated electronics or semiconductor back-end manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of MES software.
- Working knowledge of inventory tracking (ERP/SAP).
- Basic MS Excel for production logs.
- Equipment knowledge: pick-and-place handlers, tape-and-reel sealers, label printers, vacuum sealers.
Nice to have
- Associate Degree.
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to operate and maintain automated test equipment and handlers.
