About the role
This role involves production support for ATE final test operations, leading day-to-day operations of automated IC testing and tape & reel production lines for customer orders and engineering samples. Responsibilities include line execution, yield tracking, and order fulfillment for MEMS timing devices.
What you'll do
- Set up and run production machinery (ATE test handler loading).
- Load device trays/tubes into automated test handlers, monitor jam rates, perform basic contactor cleaning, and clear mechanical jams.
- Inspect die surfaces, bond wires, and package leads under optical microscopes for defects.
- Record pass/fail yields, scrap counts, and test execution data in MES/ERP tracking software.
- Flag low-yield lots to quality and product engineers.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0–2 years in automated electronics or semiconductor back-end manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of MES software, inventory tracking (ERP/SAP), and basic MS Excel.
- Equipment knowledge of pick-and-place handlers, tape-and-reel sealers, label printers, and vacuum sealers.
Nice to have
- Associate Degree.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and maintain automated test equipment and handlers.
