About the role
This role performs the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies in Austin, Texas.
What you'll do
- Perform the selection, set-up, and calibration of specialized test equipment, Helium leak testing, and mechanical assemblies. - Determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, flow diagrams, and schematics. - Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems, isolating defects and assisting in resolving technical issues. - Complete rework on assemblies and systems as required following testing. - Prepare technical reports summarizing test findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
What you'll need
- 2-4+ years of production or related work experience, ideally with digital and/or analog systems testing. - Working knowledge of transducers, mass flow controllers, regulators, and pneumatic valve components. - Ability to read and interpret flow diagram drawings and blueprints. - Experience with equipment set-up, calibration, troubleshooting, and Helium leak testing.
