About the role
This role provides technical support for field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel, focusing on diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro-mechanical equipment, computer systems, software, or networked and wireless systems.
What you'll do
- Provide remote and on-site advanced-level support to analyze, troubleshoot, and manage tool-down escalations for Lam semiconductor processing equipment.
- Communicate as a subject matter expert on high-level technical issues and escalations.
- Drive actions at customer sites to resolve escalations and prevent recurring problems.
- Troubleshoot technical problems by providing root cause hypotheses, analysis, and action plans.
- Liaise between customers and Product Groups to ensure closure of product issues.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for installed base performance improvements within a customer site/account.
What you'll need
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with no prior experience required; or equivalent work experience.
