This role involves evaluating materials, properties, and techniques in production from a reliability standpoint to ensure product quality.
What you'll do
- Evaluate materials, properties, and techniques used in production for reliability.
- Advise design engineering on the selection, application, and test of electronic components and systems.
- Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.
- Develop new acceleration techniques and analytical tools for early identification of potential problems with new products, packaging, processes, and product reliability.
- Develop and implement the division's Quality Assurance program and policies.
- Perform FMECA, document CRAMS, and perform PQP at supplier.
What you'll need
- Experience evaluating materials, properties, and techniques used in production.
- Background in advising on the selection, application, and test of electronic components and systems.
- Knowledge of statistical process control procedures for product reliability.
- Proficiency in developing new acceleration techniques and analytical tools.
- Experience developing and implementing Quality Assurance programs.
- Ability to perform FMECA and PQP.
- Expertise in reliability modeling and ERAMS.
