About the role
This role involves evaluating the reliability of materials, properties, and techniques used in production for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
What you'll do
- Evaluate materials, properties, and techniques used in production from a reliability standpoint.
- Advise design engineering on the selection, application, and testing of electronic components and systems.
- Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.
- Develop new acceleration techniques and analytical tools for early identification of potential problems with new products, packaging, and processes.
- Develop and implement the division's Quality Assurance program and policies.
- Perform FMECA, document CRAMS, and work with suppliers and engineers on CRAMS test plans.
What you'll need
- Expertise in reliability evaluation of materials and electronic components.
- Experience advising on component and system selection and testing.
- Ability to recommend statistical process control procedures.
- Experience with developing new acceleration techniques and analytical tools.
- Capability to develop and implement Quality Assurance programs.
- Experience with FMECA and CRAMS.
