About the role
As a Product Installation Engineer, you will lead the on-time installation and qualification of complex capital equipment at customer sites globally, ensuring smooth handoff, predictable cycle times, and warranty sign-off.
What you'll do
- Install and qualify complex capital equipment at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing solutions. - Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of semiconductor capital equipment. - Collaborate cross-functionally with regional engineering and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership. - Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements to secure warranty sign-off on newly installed tools. - Maintain a schedule working 6 days per week, 10 hours per day, with extensive domestic and international travel exceeding 90%.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related work experience, or a Master's degree with 0 years of related work experience. - Knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems. - Experience working with computer systems, operating systems, and networking in Windows, Unix, or similar environments. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Willingness and ability to undertake extensive domestic and international travel (90%+).

- Experience with high-vacuum systems.
