About the role
As a Product Installation Engineer, you will lead the on-time installation and qualification of complex semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites worldwide.
What you'll do
- Install and qualify semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites globally, meeting defined schedules and quality standards. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing solutions. - Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of complex capital equipment. - Collaborate cross-functionally with regional engineering and customer teams to verify system performance and secure warranty sign-off. - Provide status updates and complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately. - Work a schedule of 6 days per week, 10 hours per day, with extensive domestic and international travel.
What you'll need
- An ASET degree or equivalent work experience supporting complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry. - Knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems. - Experience with computer systems, operating systems, and networking in Windows, Unix, or similar environments. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Ability to travel 90%+ domestically and internationally.

- Experience with high-vacuum systems.
