About the role
This role provides tool installation services, troubleshooting, and technical support across customer sites within the KLA Services organization. Key focus areas include mature tool installations and KLASE upgrades on 1-3 models.
What you'll do
- Install new tools at customer sites following procedures to complete installations within required cycle times. - Focus on mature tool installations and KLASE upgrades on 1-3 models. - Evaluate, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment problems and repair basic system-level issues related to installation. - Prepare field service reports, daily passdowns on installation progress and non-conformances, and contribute to Quality Feedback Reports. - Complete LKS training on related tools and collaborate with senior engineers and technical support for guidance. - Work 6 days per week, 10 hours per day, with domestic and international travel to customer sites.
What you'll need
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent college degree without experience, or equivalent work experience. - Ability to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods (minimum 60% travel) by commercial transportation. - Ability to work a schedule of 6 days per week, 10 hours per day. - Capability to evaluate and troubleshoot basic system-level equipment problems under guidance.
Nice to have
- ASET (Associate of Science in Electronics Technology), BSEET, BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or BSEE. - HNC (Higher National Certificate) or HND (Higher National Diploma) in electrical/electronic engineering.
