About the role
This role oversees and provides leadership to Product Engineering engineers and technicians at SM (Sherman Fab) for yield optimization, new product launch, and production support. The manufacturing facilities drive the production of a vast portfolio of semiconductor products.
What you'll do
- Conduct analysis of production yield issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with Business Units to characterize, qualify, and release new products to production
- Address daily production challenges including low yield disposition and process troubleshooting
- Lead initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, and quality enhancement
- Utilize statistical tools and production data to guide engineering decisions and process improvements
- Work with design teams on product simulation, design verification and silicon debug
What you'll need
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering discipline
- 6 years of experience in Product Engineering at the Device/Wafer Level
Nice to have
- Strong technical background in process/ test and device physics
- Strong data analysis skills and experience with AI systems for data analysis
- 1 year of leadership/management experience
- Strong experience driving projects to successful conclusion
