About the role

This Product Engineer will connect engineering decisions with customer needs and business goals, ensuring product reliability, usefulness, affordability, and market readiness. The role involves making decisions for design, manufacturing, and reliability while balancing time-to-market for High Speed and Signal Conditioning Amplifiers.

What you'll do

  • Develop a broad range of analog amplifiers, PGAs, XTRs, Buffers, and Optical networking devices.
  • Collaborate with Design, Applications, Test, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Reliability teams for new product development.
  • Design bench evaluation PCBs and generate characterization programs for bench evaluations.
  • Perform evaluation, debug, and characterization of integrated circuits to meet product requirement specifications.
  • Work with failure analysis (FA) to determine root cause of reliability and qualification failures.
  • Address customer-specific product quality, yield management, and cost reduction issues on mature products globally.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with integrated circuit and device failure analysis.
  • Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits, their operation, and analysis.

Nice to have

  • Experience with plastic and hermetic package developments and IC thermal modeling.
  • Experience with A&D and space level device release.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment for data collection, device debug, or failure analysis (e.g., curve tracers, return loss analyzers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
  • Experience with bench testing of high speed op-amps, PGAs, INAs, XTRs, and Buffers.
  • Experience with bench validation and characterization PCBs.
  • Programming skills for automation of bench characterization equipment (Labview/Test stand), C, and C++.
  • Extensive knowledge of statistics and tools to analyze characterization data, determine production test limits, and predict yield data.
