About the role

This role involves the entire lifecycle of semiconductor products, from development and validation to production ramp-up and field performance monitoring. You will join a team that develops buck converters powering solutions in automotive, industrial, and personal electronics.

What you'll do

  • Drive new product development (NPI) with a focus on package definition, assembly, manufacturing, and reliability qualification.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and plan new projects based on customer needs.
  • Set up and qualify products within manufacturing processes and flows.
  • Drive reliability testing to ensure the product fulfills lifetime requirements and investigate root causes for assembly and qualification issues.
  • Understand how IC components interact physically, mechanically, chemically, and electrically to ensure reliable mass production.
  • Work on new technology development projects, cost reductions, capacity expansions, yield enhancements, and quality improvements.

What you'll need

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microsystems Technology, Material Science, Physics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge or interest in semiconductor fabrication processes, manufacturing flows, and reliability testing, including electrical, physical, mechanical, and chemical interaction of components.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and materials science.
  • Basic understanding of electronic circuits.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).

Nice to have

  • Understanding of IC packaging.
  • Understanding of failure analysis techniques.
  • Basic experience with Python development.
  • Experience in Ansys, Cadence, or similar modeling/simulation SW tools.
  • German language skills.
