Product Engineering & Quality
About the role
Product Engineers collaborate with design and back-end teams to ensure devices are designed for manufacturability, reliability, and meet data sheet specifications. The role includes sustaining support to optimize post-release manufacturing flows across test, quality, reliability, and cost parameters.
What you'll do
- Partner with design and back-end teams to ensure products meet specification and quality targets.
- Provide sustaining support across manufacturing, test, quality, and reliability teams to optimize production flows and reduce cost.
- Work with ATD (process technology) and marketing teams to improve device profit profiles and long-term development post-release.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits, including their operation and analysis.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment including curve tracers, return loss analyzers, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers for device debug or failure analysis.
- Experience with bench testing of op-amps, ADCs, mixed-signal circuits, and digital circuits.
- Experience with bench validation and characterization PCBs, as well as integrated circuit and device failure analysis.
- Programming skills for automation of bench characterization equipment using LabVIEW/TestStand, C, or C++.
- Knowledge of statistics and tools to analyze large characterization datasets, set production test limits, and predict yield data.
- Working knowledge of the requirements to transition a product from development to production.
Skills: bench testing, characterization, test limits, yield data, op-amps
