About the role
This Product Engineer role focuses on driving product development within the semiconductor equipment industry, providing real-time problem-solving to customer challenges and enhancing products.
What you'll do
- Manage timelines, priorities, milestones, and project logistics for WCO service products and customer deliverables.
- Perform technical scoping for new maintenance procedures and customer change requests.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, field engineers, and product teams to clarify maintenance procedures.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, customer-facing procedures, multimedia content, and service deliverables.
- Coordinate with videographers, multimedia specialists, and technical writers to develop and release multimedia technical documentation.
- Design, conduct, and evaluate testing of maintenance fixtures, tools, and service solutions.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, Technical Communication, or another STEM-related discipline.
- Experience with mechanical design and CAD (NX/Creo preferred, SolidWorks acceptable).
- Ability to organize technical information and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Project management skills (long-term planning, scheduling, coordinating actions, communicating deliverables).
- Able to work up to 8-hour shifts in a cleanroom environment wearing PPE.
Nice to have
- Experience with semiconductor equipment (knowledge, operation, and/or maintenance).
- Experience with creating technical documentation, training materials, or customer-facing content.
- Familiarity with content management systems, version control systems, or digital asset management processes.
- Experience with filming, photography, and camera equipment.
- Experience working with multimedia tools such as video editing (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects), graphic design (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop), photography, or animation (Blender, Unity, KeyShot).
