About the role
As a Product Development Engineer in the Film and Scatterometry Technology (FaST) Division, you will manage the complete lifecycle of products from concept to deployment. This includes ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of optical film metrology systems.
What you'll do
- Design and develop system architectures and characterize system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and validate metrology systems.
- Define and document system specifications to meet project requirements.
- Perform detailed systems analysis to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to qualify systems.
- Provide ongoing engineering support to ensure field systems adaption, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
What you'll need
- In-depth understanding of Systems Engineering principles with experience developing complex systems in the semiconductor industry.
- Skills in optical systems, opto-mechanics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in optics, precision mechanics, image processing, and motion control systems.
- Doctorate Degree with 0 years, Master's Level Degree with 3 years, or Bachelor's Level Degree with 5 years of related work experience.
- Ability of domestic and international travel up to 25%.
Nice to have
- Experience on data processing, analytics, and statistics with programming languages such as Python and MATLAB.
