This role involves the architecture, specification, and design of enhancements for processor cores, working closely with validation and physical design teams.
What you'll do
- Partner with the Chief Architect to identify improvement opportunities.
- Architect, specify, and design enhancements.
- Work closely with validation and physical design teams to productize solutions.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of experience in processor core logic design.
- Strong knowledge in at least one of the following areas: load/store, instruction fetch and branch prediction, memory management, or bus protocols.
- Strong architecture knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with performance analysis and optimization, including identifying performance bottlenecks, analyzing and modeling potential improvements, and implementing solutions.
