About the role
This role provides technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area focused on Crystal Growth.
What you'll do
- Provide technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area in Crystal Growth.
- Implement equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and production yields for existing products.
- Develop and conduct statistical analysis such as Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) for yield loss and quality improvement.
- Ensure all control documentations (PFD, PFMEA, and PCP) are up to date.
- Collaborate with downstream departments, facilities, logistics, and software teams to resolve production interruptions.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and quality management systems.
- Experience with JMP or similar statistical analysis software.
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL.
