About the role
As a Process Support Engineer, you will guide products through their lifecycle from initial concept to final qualification while providing on-site customer support for installations, system diagnoses, service, and repair. The role spans technologies including Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal, and Implant.
What you'll do
- Serve as the liaison between the customer and the Business Unit for assigned projects to ensure delivery of applicable solutions. - Work closely with customers to optimize tool performance to meet process and integration requirements. - Check and approve operational quality of system equipment, instructing customers on system operation and maintenance. - Provide on-site customer support for installations, troubleshooting, diagnoses, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. - Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOEs), analyzing data with statistics and compiling reports with high-level conclusions. - Troubleshoot complex problems, perform root cause analyses, and resolve process engineering and customer product issues.
What you'll need
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment or a similar high-tech industry. - Bachelor's degree in a STEM field. - Knowledge of 3 or more processes on 1 or more technologies. - Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

- 3+ years of experience in applications or process engineering.
