About the role
This role supports the inspection, processing, and daily status monitoring of critical engineering wafers in the fab for InP and GaAs optoelectronic devices.
What you'll do
- Support daily monitoring and inspection of critical ENG wafers across different stages of the fab process. - Perform hands-on process development and experimental processing. - Execute MES transactions including hold, release, and move-in/out operations. - Support deviation and build request workflows within the document control system. - Conduct first-level failure analysis and precise wafer inspection.
What you'll need
- Associate degree or equivalent qualification. - Minimum 2+ years of industry experience in semiconductor wafer processing. - In-depth knowledge of semiconductor unit processes and engineering practices. - Understanding of engineering statistics with proficiency in JMP or alternative statistical software. - Proficiency in MS Office suite. - Ability to work in a Class 100/1000 cleanroom environment wearing full cleanroom attire.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with semiconductor wafer fab operations (Manufacturing Execution System, process and quality control, change management) in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
