About the role
This role involves designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor manufacturing technologies.
What you'll do
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor manufacturing technologies.
- Collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering issues.
- Measure film properties, generate technical documentation, and engage with customers to resolve concerns.
- Assist with automation wet process demonstrations, including tool preparation, processing and measuring wafers, and chemical analysis.
- Assist with high volume manufacturing tool setup, process optimization of wet process, failure analysis, and reliability testing.
- Lead chemical analysis tools setup involving chemical analysis and chemical testing, and conduct electrochemical testing.
What you'll need
- Master's degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience on metrology equipment, FA systems (AOI, AOS, CSAM, and 3D x-ray CT), and reliability tools.
- Knowledge of process control and statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
- Proficient with thin film characterization techniques (SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, SIMS, etc.).
- Ability to independently drive projects and deliver a product.
Nice to have
- Chemistry engineering experience especially related to plating process and chemical analysis in a development or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing.
- Experience in advanced packaging processing.
- Experience with chemical analysis tools.
