About the role
This role supports manufacturing operations, focusing on CVD diamond growth and fabrication, through process monitoring, data analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
What you'll do
- Monitor process performance and collect production data for engineering analysis.
- Assist with troubleshooting process, equipment, and quality issues within manufacturing operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, quality, safety, and productivity.
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
- Maintain process documentation, work instructions, and engineering records.
- Prepare technical summaries, reports, and presentations as assigned.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, materials, science, or Physics field.
- 0–1 years of related engineering, manufacturing, research, internship, or co-op experience.
- Basic understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles.
- Ability to learn and apply statistical and quality tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Nice to have
- Semiconductor, vacuum systems, materials processing, or advanced manufacturing experience.
- Exposure to statistical analysis or process improvement methodologies.
