About the role
As part of an SoC validation team, the Principal/Sr Principal Digital Validation Engineer will perform LPDDR functional validation of various SoC products. This includes validation of LPDDR interface and protocol.
What you'll do
- Prepare setups, execute tests, collect data, and summarize results for validation activities. - Debug issues, improve test coverage, and document observations. - Work with design, systems, and software teams to understand expected behavior and support issue resolution. - Maintain validation plans, reports, and technical records. - Contribute to product quality, technical learning, and disciplined test execution.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. - 15+ years' experience in validation or related SoC fields for Sr Principal /10-15 years' experience in validation or related SoC fields for Principal. - Experience in LPDDR4/5. - Strong C programming skills. - Hands-on experience with lab work and use of lab equipment such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers. - Ability to lead a team technically. - Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
