About the role
Graphcore is seeking a Principal SLT Test Engineer to join the Product Test and Diagnosis Department (PTD) to establish and lead System Level Test (SLT) capabilities. In this role, you will manage an engineering team to implement SLT solutions for multi-die AI processor products.
What you'll do
- Lead a team of engineers to implement System Level Test (SLT) solutions for multi-die AI processor products. - Collaborate with silicon, test, and DFT teams to define manufacturing test solutions across ATE, board, blade, and in-field test flows. - Define SLT hardware test fixtures, including structural and functional test equipment, interface PCBs, sockets, and cooling systems. - Author production, engineering, and characterization test programs on SLT platforms and correlate results to bench measurements. - Transfer verified test solutions to offshore OSATs and contract manufacturers as part of NPI release. - Support silicon and board bring-up while analyzing hardware failures to drive yield learning and improvement.
What you'll need
- Proven experience in production test of large digital devices and complex functional systems. - Strong knowledge of digital integrated circuits, advanced test techniques, and ATE test engineering. - Deep technical understanding of DFT architectures and components, including JTAG (IEEE 1149.x), BIST, and MBIST. - Practical experience transferring test programs and processes to volume manufacturing with OSATs and contract manufacturers. - Familiarity with top-level and board-level DFT strategies within 3D, multi-die architectures.
