About the role
This individual contributor role focuses on New Product Development (NPD) Reliability Engineering and qualifications, as well as Manufacturing Product (MP) change qualifications.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute the DfR, reliability strategy, and qualification for NPD projects.
- Coordinate with the Design team to integrate lessons learned into Design-for-Reliability BKMs.
- Conduct design of experiments (DOE), material and process characterization, validation, and reliability evaluation for NPD products.
- Review NPD test program development with PE and TE to ensure test quality with defect screen strategies.
- Provide engineering inputs and reliability risk assessment to NPD cross-functional teams.
- Lead NPD cross-functional teams for Qualification Readiness Checks and perform 1st level reject disposition for failures during Qual stress tests.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
- 8+ years of Semiconductor IC Reliability, Reliability Engineering, or Product Engineering experience.
- Experience with reliability stress methodologies, reliability acceleration models, reliability hardware design, and Product Qualification flow/tests.
- Familiarity with industrial standards (AEC Q100, JEDEC, IPC) for Qualification and PCN process.
- Knowledge of CMOS devices physics, Device & Circuit Reliability, Design for Reliability, reliability statistics & models.
- Knowledge of CMOS package, assembly process, and semiconductor package failure modes.
Nice to have
- M.S. degree or Ph.D. in electrical engineering.
- Experience with Product or Test Engineering, familiar with drift analysis of Qualification samples.
- Familiarity with FA & RCCA flows.
