About the role
This role involves leading new product qualification and reliability testing for semiconductor products within the Quality Organization. The position focuses on risk analysis of advanced products across Marvell's Data Center, Custom Compute, and Enterprise businesses.
What you'll do
- Define the strategy and prepare the plan for new product/process qualification.
- Build product qualification schedules and provide frequent status updates.
- Define requirements for qualification hardware (HTOL, HAST board) and collaborate with testing labs.
- Drive robust execution of qualification and reliability testing for new products.
- Manage reliability suppliers/subcontractors for product qualification tests.
- Support reliability evaluation for new vendors, design changes, and materials.
- Write product qualification reports and related documents.
- Drive failure analysis activities for qualification/reliability evaluation.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical/Materials Engineering, or related engineering fields.
- Over 10 years of professional experience, or 5+ years with a Master's/PhD.
- 5+ years of experience in product qualification and reliability testing for semiconductor products.
- Knowledge in semiconductor fabrication processes (CMOS and Bi-CMOS) and packaging technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor stress testing methodology (HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD, LU).
- Familiarity with industrial standards (JEDEC, AEC, Telcordia).
- Experience with high-speed Analog devices (e.g., Drivers and TiA) and their performance testing.
- Experience working with vendors on HTOL stress pattern bring-up, testing execution, and hardware design.
- Hands-on experience with data scoping and HTOL set-up.
- Broad understanding of IC fabrication, packaging process, and product testing.
- Knowledge of failure mechanisms of Silicon/Packaging technologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with reliability data statistical analysis and data analysis software tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab).
- Good understanding of FMEA process and risk assessment.
