About the role
FormFactor is seeking a Principal Product Line Manager for DRAM Probe Cards to lead product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for DRAM wafer-level test solutions. The role aligns DRAM technology, wafer-level test, and probe card technology with memory customer requirements and business strategy.
What you'll do
- Own the product strategy and multi-generation roadmap for the DRAM probe card portfolio.
- Translate DRAM technology, device architecture, wafer-test, and manufacturing trends into probe card requirements including test parallelism, pad pitch, probe count, current carrying capability, test speed, temperature, contact resistance, and signal integrity.
- Develop market requirements documents (MRDs) and business cases, prioritizing product investments based on market opportunity, competitive position, and financial return.
- Own the probe card product lifecycle from concept and development through customer qualification, production ramp, sustainment, and end-of-life.
- Lead cross-functional commercialization for new product introductions across Engineering, Applications, Operations, Quality, and Sales.
- Serve as a technical and product authority for DRAM wafer-level test applications, training sales teams and representing FormFactor at customer technology reviews.
What you'll need
- Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experience (in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Semiconductor Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline).
- Demonstrated working knowledge of semiconductor wafer-level test, wafer probers, probe cards, ATE, and the interaction between the DUT, probe interface, and tester.
- Working knowledge of DRAM technology and manufacturing/test flows.
- Experience developing market requirements documents (MRDs), business cases, and multi-generation product roadmaps.
- Ability to travel internationally to support major memory customers.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with DRAM wafer sort, wafer-level test, or probe cards.
- Experience with DRAM products such as DDR, LPDDR, GDDR, or HBM.
- Hands-on knowledge of memory ATE, wafer probers, and test methodologies including DC/parametric test, functional test, speed test, burn-in, or reliability screening.
- Knowledge of probe-card performance parameters including contact resistance, probe force, current carrying capability, thermal behavior, signal integrity, pad damage, and probe lifetime.
- Previous experience in product management, product marketing, applications engineering, test engineering, product engineering, or technical marketing working directly with major global memory manufacturers.
- Master's degree in Engineering or an MBA.
