About the role

The Principal Product Line Manager leads the direction and business plan for Micron Technology's data center SSD portfolio. You will define investment priorities, build business cases, and guide products from concept through market launch.

What you'll do

• Set the roadmap by researching customer needs, market trends, and competitors to define product priorities throughout development.
• Lead product execution from concept through launch in partnership with engineering, sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams.
• Build the go-to-market plan and monitor progress against business cases and long-term forecasts.
• Work directly with customers and partners to gather requirements for data center storage and incorporate feedback into product decisions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, including applying AI-driven workflows to save time.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business.
• 7+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years in the data storage or SSD industry.
• Understanding of SSD technology, data center infrastructure, and market trends.
• Direct experience in one or more storage areas such as hard drives, NAND, ASICs, DRAM, interfaces, protocols, features, standards, hardware, firmware, software, or validation.
• Experience utilizing analytical data to make product decisions and leading cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent.
• Familiarity with data center SSD workloads such as LLM training and inference, cloud, or cloud storage.
• Familiarity with workloads such as software-defined storage, capacity and caching tiers, block or object stores, SQL or NoSQL databases, analytics, content delivery, journaling, or booting.
