Principal Product Engineer

About the role
The Principal Product Engineer drives all facets of product support and supply chain improvements within the Networking and Connectivity Solutions Business Unit.
What you'll do
- Interface with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve technical issues in fab, packaging, and test, as well as non-technical supply chain and system issues.
- Drive all aspects of foundry and assembly migrations and qualifications.
- Provide support and guidance to regional teams as the primary Business Unit representative in Asia.
- Focus on key customer shortages and implement tactical and strategic improvements to the supply chain.
- Manage long-term customer change management, including PCNs, PPAPs, and qualification data, across supply chain evolutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality, cost, and delivery while sustaining existing products.
What you'll need
- B.S. in Engineering or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of semiconductor packaging technology.
- Good understanding of the semiconductor manufacturing flow.
- Experience managing customer change notifications, PPAPs, and qualification data.
- Ability to interface across technical functions including planning, customer support, R&D engineering, corporate packaging, and foundry management.
