About the role
Manage day-to-day foundry interactions and technical deliverables to support product design and roadmap requirements. Focus areas include High Voltage, Analog, Mixed Signal BCD processes, and LDMOS device physics.
What you'll do
- Manage foundry technology deliverables, review technical topics, and align process options to Renesas product roadmaps. - Support product design and layout teams with DRC reviews, layout checks, isolation practices, and process verifications for tape out. - Review and evaluate foundry process technologies and SPICE models for accuracy, design ability, and production readiness. - Define, develop, and layout test structures and design of experiments to evaluate devices, processes, models, and reliability test chips. - Develop process documentation for CAD teams to support Process Design Kits (PDKs). - Partner with quality and product engineers to resolve process-related yield, quality, and manufacturing issues.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry as a process/device engineer and/or a foundry interface engineer. - Hands-on experience dealing with foundries across various process technologies. - Deep expertise in BCD process technology and LDMOS device physics. - Strong background in device physics, wafer level reliability, device-circuit interaction, High voltage power MOSFETs, BJTs, and passive devices. - Proven experience supporting analog mixed-signal design and product teams on process technology, reliability, SPICE modeling, and DRC rules. - Track record of leading technical projects independently and mentoring junior engineers.
