About the role

Responsible for maintaining network fabrics and network topologies operating at peak performance across data centers housing AI server platforms. You will partner with the network architecture team through all phases of design and deployment to ensure stable, high-speed fabrics.

What you'll do

- Maintain network fabrics and topologies operating at peak performance across data centers housing AI server platforms. - Collaborate with the Network architecture team through all phases of design and development lifecycle from concept to deployment. - Provide primary support and serve as the direct escalation point for hardware, link, and performance issues on deployed internal fabrics. - Provide escalation support for customer network fabrics aligned to reference architectures. - Triage day-to-day network topologies (scale-up, scale-out, and front-end networks) issues across deployed data center fabrics.

What you'll need

- Bachelor’s, master’s degree or equivalent experience in Network Engineering/Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - 9+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, including 3+ years supporting networking on AI or hyperscale data centers. - Knowledge of Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) and its implementations, specifically ROCEv2 or InfiniBand. - Knowledge of lossless networks, including congestion control and lossless Ethernet technologies such as PFC, ECN, and DCQCN. - Experience operating 400G and 800G network fabrics, addressing physical layer challenges, and working with specific optical transceivers. - Experience sustaining non-blocking, multi-tier CLOS networks (Spine / Leaf / Super-Spine) optimized for high-density GPU clusters. - Extensive troubleshooting experience for data center routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, as well as troubleshooting VXLAN implementations. - Experience working across teams with network architects, systems hardware engineers, AI software engineers, and data center infrastructure teams to optimize full-stack networking including NICs, SmartNICs, DPUs, and switches.
