About the role
This role involves pushing forward MEMS technology and engineering resonators for SiTime’s timing products.
What you'll do
- Lead definition and execution of challenging technical projects.
- Develop new or improved resonators, MEMS technologies, and/or products.
- Design MEMS devices and characterize their electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance on wafer level and/or device level.
- Work with the process team to drive continuous improvement in MEMS yields.
- Extend and enhance automated infrastructure for MEMS design, measurements, and data analysis.
- Design and analyze experiments to understand device physics, materials, and fabrication.
What you'll need
- Ph.D. in ME, EE, Physics, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of industry experience.
- Ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics.
- Knowledge in fundamentals of MEMS devices physics and fabrication.
- Experience with finite element simulation tools (COMSOL, ANSYS) and data processing tools (Matlab, Python).
Nice to have
- 3-10 years of industry experience.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of programming languages, circuits, metrology equipment, and methods.
- Experience with Statistical analysis and tools such as R or JMP.
- Knowledge in MEMS microfabrication.
