About the role
This role leads digital design, verification, debug, simulation, and automation script development for digital power management ICs.
What you'll do
- Develop, debug, and verify digital designs in pre- and post-silicon environments. - Manage assigned design blocks across requirements, architecture, and RTL implementation. - Write tests to verify bulk design intent against specifications. - Develop, learn, and improve scripts to facilitate design automation flows. - Research and present new tools in aid of the design development process. - Serve as functional digital design lead on projects and mentor junior engineers.
What you'll need
- BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (EE/ECE) and 10+ years of relevant industry experience. - Experience developing CDC, RDC, and LINT clean designs in Verilog. - Experience debugging mixed-signal designs in SystemVerilog-based test benches and gate-level simulation debug. - Experience designing serial interfaces such as I2C, I3C, SPI, and I2S. - Hands-on experience with Cadence or Synopsys design tool flows. - Hands-on technical leadership experience leading design projects.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl. - Knowledge of ARM Cortex-M series processors and general computer architecture. - Exposure to mixed-signal designs with a basic understanding of analog circuits. - Experience in digital backend design flows including synthesis, STA, and P&R. - Full design flow experience spanning specification, micro-architecture, RTL implementation, and backend implementation. - Experience with PMBus, SMBus, AVSBus, SVID, or SVI3.
