About the role
Keysight Technologies is hiring a Principal Hardware Design Engineer to participate in the design and development of network visibility products involving high-speed networking, compute, and FPGA resources.
What you'll do
- Develop network visibility hardware products and guide the design of future product generations. - Author schematics and manage PCB layout resources. - Support sustaining efforts and implement design changes to improve yields. - Collaborate in a cross-functional team including Mechanical, RTL, Software, and manufacturing engineers.
What you'll need
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years of relevant experience. - Experience in hardware product development from initial concept to production. - Knowledge of high-speed signal integrity concepts, PCB stackups, and materials. - Experience with EMC design techniques and resolving EMC non-compliance issues. - Proficiency with lab equipment and capturing complex measurements. - Experience with high performance processors, embedded platforms, and switching power supply design. - Competence with Cadence tools including OrCad/Concept and Allegro.
