About the role
This role involves owning and driving the pre-sales technical engagement with current and prospective customers concerning their CPU, SoC Architecture, Security, and Software/Firmware requirements. The focus is on leveraging SiFive’s portfolio to deliver differentiated value for customers building RISC-V SoCs.
What you'll do
- Own, manage, and drive customer engagements including evaluations, product demos, benchmark runs, PPA analysis, and FPGA bringup.
- Work with the sales team and take technical ownership of the sales process.
- Understand and interpret customers’ technical requirements and propose solutions for RISC-V SoCs.
- Articulate detailed technical requirements to internal stakeholders.
- Support Marketing activities such as webinars, blog posts, application notes, and trade-shows.
What you'll need
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years of industry experience.
- In-depth working knowledge of CPU architecture and SoC architecture.
- Track record of successful customer engagements.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership and initiative in driving technology/product interactions.
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
Nice to have
- Hands-on expertise with HW development (RTL/implementation flows, verification/validation, backend flows, FPGA flows) or SW development (C/assembly, OS/RTOS, IDEs, Compiler/Debuggers).
- Experience with CPU IP based on ARM, MIPS or RISC-V.
- Experience with automotive safety/FuSA development/deployment methodologies.
