About the role
This role is for a Principal Engineer in the Product Engineering organization, responsible for building, deploying, and running products for mass production. This position involves working with Networking for CuPhy, ODSP/CDSP & Custom Solutions.
What you'll do
- Set up test programs and hardware for advanced industrial test systems.
- Perform fail analysis and debugging (software/hardware) to resolve device or test issues.
- Transfer new products and technology to test locations in Asia for mass production.
- Maintain and enhance product test yield and quality in final test, system level test, wafer, and bump sort.
- Implement cost reduction activities such such as product yield improvement, test insertion elimination, test time reduction, multiple test site enhancement, and wafer sort.
- Provide customer return verification support.
What you'll need
- B.S. in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Basic understanding of product test methodology and implementation.
- Knowledge of C, C++ programming language.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and failure debugging skills.
Nice to have
- Hands-on knowledge on JMP statistical analysis tool.
- Hands-on knowledge on scripting languages such as Perl and Python.
