About the role
This role involves the systems design and implementation of physical layer algorithms for low power Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Sub-GHz wireless products.
What you'll do
- Simulate communication systems and participate in digital block design
- Design and simulate the physical layer of wireless communication systems
- Develop system models for performance evaluation, optimization, and to guide design trade-offs
- Work with RF/Analog and digital design teams to develop module specifications and implement algorithms
- Bring-up, test, and troubleshoot test chips and SoCs with RF/Analog, Digital, and Validation teams
- Document and develop design and test plans
What you'll need
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience in wireless PHY systems design and implementation
- Strong background in signal processing and communication theory
- Experience in MATLAB, C/C++, and fixed-point/cycle-true programming and simulation
- Experience on Modem and digital front-end blocks design
- Experience in IC design, RFIC calibration, and testing
