About the role
This role is responsible for supporting new product introductions, bringing first silicon to life, and performing functional validation within the Post-Silicon Validation team. The position involves designing validation tests, architecting test infrastructure improvements, and debugging silicon for AI chips and platforms.
What you'll do
- Plan, design, develop, and debug silicon validation tests in bare metal C/C++ on FPGA/Emulator prior to first silicon. - Deploy silicon validation tests on first silicon and debug failures and defects. - Develop automated test frameworks and regression test suites in Python to optimize validation efficiency. - Work with Validation and Production Test engineering peers to implement improvements to test methodologies and shared test infrastructure. - Provide technical feedback to architects based on test results and defect analysis.
What you'll need
- Strong experience in bare metal / embedded C/C++. - Hands-on experience with the post-silicon validation process applied in digital ASIC environments. - Proficiency in Python and Linux environments. - Understanding of ML applications and their workloads.
