About the role
This role involves defining and designing end-to-end data architecture for AI-driven Triage and RCA systems. It focuses on large-scale knowledge graphs representing engineering expertise and failure mechanisms.
What you'll do
- Define the end-to-end data architecture for AI-driven Triage and RCA systems.
- Design scalable data lake, metadata, and semantic layer architectures.
- Architect large-scale knowledge graphs representing engineering expertise, failure mechanisms, product relationships, and historical RCA data.
- Enable advanced AI workflows demonstrating GraphRAG, vector databases, and hybrid retrieval systems.
- Build data ingestion pipelines from engineering systems, telemetry platforms, defect databases, Jira, Confluence, test infrastructures, and manufacturing systems.
- Design data architecture supporting millions of records and low-latency AI inference.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of proven experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Analytics platforms.
- Deep expertise in: Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Knowledge Graphs (Neo4j, ArcadeDB, TigerGraph), Vector Databases, Graph Databases, ETL/ELT Pipelines, Data Modeling, Metadata Management, and Cloud Platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
- Experience building enterprise-scale AI/ML data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.
Nice to have

How we counted: 516 open AI/ML Hardware Engineering (AI ML Hardware) roles from 76 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 21 Sept 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Software, Firmware & Systems family row. Figures refresh nightly.
