About the role

This role involves architecting, designing, and optimizing advanced power delivery systems from concept to production. The focus is on high-frequency and high-density power converters for AI processors and data centers applications on FinFet processes.

What you'll do

  • Lead project: own top-level design and verification, and partition blocks.
  • Drive design flow to keep the project on schedule and error free.
  • Design IP blocks and communicate knowledge to the team.
  • Supervise top level IC floorplan and layout development.
  • Perform IC evaluation, including initial bring-up, detailed bench characterization, timely debug, and design fix.
  • Support test development and qualification plans to bring products to mass production.

What you'll need

  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 12+ years' experience in Power IC design.
  • Experience in chip/project lead (2+ projects) with 5+ team members.
  • Demonstrated track record in successfully leading analog power IC design projects from initial concept into mass production.
  • Switching converters design experience, including power stage and controller architecture.
  • Ability to do transistor circuit design in one or more of the following areas: bandgap, precision voltage and current references, variable gain amplifiers, continuous time filters, PLLs (analog, hybrid and digital), ADCs (Flash, SAR, sigma-delta), voltage regulators, temperature sensors, I/O blocks, DAC, sense and protection circuits.
  • Strong knowledge in device physics and deep sub-micron processes.
  • Proficiency in Cadence design and verification tools.

Nice to have

  • Project management and organizational skills.
