About the role
This role involves the analysis, research, design, simulation, characterization, and release-to-production of high-performance, power-delivery & measurement Integrated Circuits. You will create high-performance solutions for production testing of advanced high-performance computational ICs such as AI processors, GPUs, and High Bandwidth Memory.
What you'll do
- Lead medium and high-complexity ICs from architecture selection to implementation and debugging, managing analog and digital teams.
- Perform mixed-mode IC top-level/block design, transistor-level circuit design and simulation.
- Use recommended design and verification techniques, tools & flows to produce efficient designs which meet specifications.
- Integrate blocks into larger mixed-signal systems.
- Support other development team functions, such as layout, application, and test.
- Perform hands-on evaluation of ICs in the lab.
What you'll need
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years’ experience as analog circuit designer.
- Strong fundamentals in analog and mixed-signal design, tools and flows.
- Design experience with amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs, and switching power supply circuits.
- Experience in leading complex and large Mixed-Signal ICs.
- Good understanding of power supply control architectures.
- Knowledge of BCD process technologies.
- Understand digital IC design.
- Understand physical phenomena such as latch-up, HCI degradation, and other reliability issues.
- Ability to take ownership of top-level subsystems and integration in the mixed-signal environment.
