Work on DRAM circuits.
About the role
This role involves designing, optimizing, and verifying block-level analog and mixed-signal circuits for Micron's memory products. The position focuses on shaping the circuits at the heart of DRAM products, carrying innovative designs from concept to silicon.
What you'll do
- Design, optimize, and verify block-level analog and mixed-signal circuits for DRAM.
- Propose, evaluate, and implement new or improved circuit topologies to enhance block PPAC.
- Work with internal data science teams and EDA vendors to leverage agentic AI and AI-assisted design flows for circuit optimization.
- Expand verification coverage to strengthen robustness and mass-production yield.
- Partner with global design groups, guide layout through post-layout simulation, and support silicon-to-simulation correlation.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of semiconductor design experience.
- Solid analog circuit design fundamentals with experience designing regulators, charge pumps, oscillators, current references, bandgaps, or comparators.
- Proficiency with SPICE and Verilog modeling and simulation.
- Ability to supervise physical layout of analog circuits.
- Experience working across technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to have
- MSEE with 10+ years or BSEE with 12+ years of analog or mixed-signal IC design experience.
- Demonstrated DRAM circuit design experience and 5+ years of circuit debugging.
- Recent hands-on AI usage and proficiency.
- Strong understanding of device physics and CMOS process technologies.
- Proven ability to mentor and coach junior engineers.

How we counted: 282 open Analog IC Design (Analog Design) roles from 51 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 30 Sept 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Analog & Mixed-Signal family row.
