About the role
This role involves designing, developing, deploying, and supporting software solutions leveraging artificial intelligence, workflow automation, enterprise integrations, and advanced analytics for FormFactor's AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, deploy, and support AI-enabled applications, automation solutions, and enterprise software using approved technologies.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI and automation, translating requirements into scalable solutions.
- Lead solution delivery through the full development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain applications, APIs, integrations, and data-driven solutions using modern software engineering practices.
- Build AI-enabled solutions utilizing enterprise AI platforms and large language models, validating AI-generated code for quality and security.
- Troubleshoot applications, resolve technical issues, and continuously improve solution reliability and performance.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in software engineering, application development, automation, AI enablement, analytics, or digital transformation.
- Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and supporting production software applications and enterprise solutions.
- Strong programming experience with Java, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, or similar modern development languages.
- Experience building and consuming APIs, integrations, and cloud-based services.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices including source control, testing, code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support.
- Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience evaluating and leveraging AI-assisted development tools and AI-generated outputs.
- Experience supporting global organizations, manufacturing operations, or high-tech environments.
- Technical experience with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, Power Platform, AI agents, large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, AI-assisted development, workflow automation.
- Technical experience with Java, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, REST APIs, microservices, web application development, application architecture, object-oriented programming, software design patterns.
- Technical experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Databricks, SQL Server, cloud-native services, data integration, data pipelines, analytics platforms, reporting solutions.
- Technical experience with GitHub, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, source control, application monitoring, deployment automation, release management.
- Technical experience with Enterprise application integrations, ERP platforms, workflow orchestration, API development, business intelligence, data visualization, process automation, digital workplace solutions.
