About the role
This role involves developing highly reliable board-mounted power (BMP) solutions for data center technologies.
What you'll do
- Develop comprehensive power supply solutions including voltage regulation, power conversion, and distribution.
- Design DC-DC converters, AC-DC modules, linear regulators, and power management circuits.
- Utilize simulation tools such as H-spice or LTspice to model circuit performance.
- Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to ensure optimal placement and routing of power components.
- Implement best practices for minimizing noise, EMI, and crosstalk.
- Develop and execute test plans and procedures to validate efficiency, transient response, ripple, noise, and thermal performance under various operating conditions.
What you'll need
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in power design.
- Proficient in schematic capture and CAD layout review tools.
- In-depth knowledge of the latest power technologies.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in BMP systems.
- Proficiency with stability analyzers, oscilloscopes, function generators, and electronic loads.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
